In Kumamoto Prefecture, three areas—Tomioka, Amakusa, and Ushibuka—were designated as marine parks in 1970.
The scenery of colorful coral reefs teeming with marine life and beautiful tropical fish swimming amongst them is like another world.
Enjoy exploring the underwater world of Amakusa, which boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in Japan, through diving or glass-bottom boat tours.

AMAKUSA: A paradise for fish where a world like you’ve never seen before unfolds.
